Jessica is an educational consultant partnering with the National Educators for Restorative Practices. She has fourteen years in education. Ten of those years were spent working at a 6-12 DAEP teaching English, Special Education, and working as the Campus Testing Coordinator. The last several years she was the AP of a traditional 6-8 middle school. Jessica holds an Ed.D with a specialty in Curriculum and Instruction; her published dissertation is on the effects of restorative practices on student behavior at a DAEP. She implemented restorative practices at both of her campuses and has witnessed, both pre- and post-pandemic, the power of building and sustaining relationships with students and campus staff.
